Consent and confidentiality
The confidentiality of our patients and staff is very important to us. We will not provide any information about an individual without their prior consent, or consent from their next-of-kin.
Filming and photography
The communications team manages all requests for filming and photography at NHS Calderdale, NHS Kirklees and NHS Wakefield District premises. We aim to facilitate the media wherever possible however these sites are private property and if a member of the media is found conducting interviews, filming or taking photographs without permission they will be asked to leave the premises by our security staff.
Arranging interviews with staff
We can help you find experts who can talk about a wide variety of health issues, as well as answer general questions and queries about NHS Calderdale, NHS Kirklees and NHS Wakefield District. All requests for interviews with staff must be made through the communications team. Please call 01924 317660 or 01924 317647 or email ckwcommunications@wdpct.nhs.uk with your request.
Out of hours media enquiries
All out of hours media calls should go to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary switchboard on 01484 342000. You should ask to speak to the on-call director for the Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield District cluster.
