Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)

The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (known as PALS) helps us listen to patients, their relatives, carers and friends.   By listening to what matters to you we are able to improve our services.

We will also help to answer any questions or concerns about your healthcare.  Offer advice and support when things go wrong and provide balanced and impartial information and advice

If you have a concern and are not sure if you wish to raise this as a complaint, please contact us as we may be able to help you sort out your problem quickly without you having to make a complaint.

We can provide you with information and advice and we will work with services to resolve your concerns or queries.

If we are unable to help to resolve your concerns informally we can advise you about the NHS complaints procedure and other options available to you.

We can provide you with information about the health services available in your local area, including services provided by doctors, dentists, pharmacists and opticians.

Being a patient or a carer can be a confusing time – let us help to make it easier.  Our service is completely confidential.
