Publication of Information
NHS Kirklees must publish information to show that we have consciously thought about the three aims of the Equality Duty as part of the process of decision-making. The information published must include information on employees and people affected by our policies and practices (for example, service users).
We publish information about our employees annually and it is available here. Link to pages we produce
While we have always published information about what we do and how we do it, this duty requires us to publish specific equality information. We recognise that this information will not be perfect and in doing this exercise we have noted that there are gaps where we do not have as much information or the level of detail we would like, this is a work in progress. Where we have noted any gaps we are identifying ways of addressing these. We will create an action plan to ensure continuous improvement in the data we have available and that which we ask our providers to give us.
We will continue to add information to these pages over the coming months to ensure we keep up to date with progress and add anything we may have missed.
