Cost of Information
For the most part, we will charge you only for hard copies or copying onto media (e.g. CD ROM). Most information is available free, but for others there may be a charge. The charges will vary according to how information is made available.
Charges are as follows:
a) Information obtained via the Trust’s Web Site www.kirklees.nhs.uk is free of charge, although any charges for Internet Service provider and personal printing costs would have to be met by the individual.
b) For those without Internet access, a single print-out as on the website is available free of charge by post from Alison Fearnley, Corporate Governance Administrator, NHS Kirklees, Broad Lea House, Bradley Business Park, Dyson Wood Way, Bradley, Huddersfield, HD2 1GZ or by personal application at NHS Kirklees, Broad Lea House, Bradley Business Park, Dyson Wood Way, Bradley, Huddersfield, HD2 1GZ. A summary of the charging policy is described below:
There will be a minimum basic charge which covers the cost of raising an invoice which will be £15.00 if the costs of printing etc are contained within this £15.00 than no further charge will be made. However if printing/photocopying costs exceed this basic charge then charges will be made at the following rates:
Photocopies at 10p per sheet
Printouts at 10p per sheet
CD-ROM at £1.00 per disc
The PCT will advise at the time of the request whether any charges will be incurred. These charges will have to be paid in advance before the information is released.
The charges will be reviewed on an annual basis.
We will not provide printouts of other organisations’ websites.
c) Leaflets and brochures on, for example, services we offer to the public are free of charge. A list is available from Alison Fearnley, Corporate Governance Administrator, NHS Kirklees, Broad Lea House, Bradley Business Park, Dyson Wood Way, Bradley, Huddersfield, HD2 1GZ.
d) “Glossy” or other bound paper copies, or in some cases a CD Rom, video or other mediums, are free of charge as in our publication lists available from Alison Fearnley, Corporate Governance Administrator, NHS Kirklees, Broad Lea House, Bradley Business Park, Dyson Wood Way, Bradley, Huddersfield, HD2 1GZ.
e) e-mail will be free of charge unless it says otherwise.
