Each year we review the previous twelve months and produce an annual report. This gives an overview of how well the organisation has performed and how well it has managed its finances. It also sets out key initiatives and aims for the future.

Provider Services Annual Report 2008-09
This annual report gives an overview of the performance of the provider arm of NHS Kirklees. The provider arm offers primary care and community services directly to the public. It's services are commissioned by NHS Kirklees.
Each year the quality of healthcare is assessed through the Annual Health Check. This scores NHS Trusts on how well they manage their finances, resources such as staff and property, and on the quality of services they provide.
Standards for Better Health 2009/10
As part of the Annual Health Check, all NHS trusts are asked to assess their performance against the Government’s core standards for NHS healthcare, also known as Standards for Better Health. The standards cover areas such as public health, clinical and cost effectiveness and safety.
This is the last time that NHS Trusts will have to assess themselves against these core standards, as during 2009-10 the Care Quality Commission will be moving from the Annual Health Check to their new regulatory framework of registration and review – Essential Standards. Prior to this, all providers of services had to submit a mid-year core standards declaration to the Care Quality Commission.
