The Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) with key partners have taken a comprehensive approach to reducing the impacts of drugs and alcohol misuse in Kirklees. Various approaches are in place to help prevent people developing problems with drugs and/or alcohol. A wide range of organisations provide early intervention services to avoid more serious problems developing. An integrated network of specialist drug and alcohol treatment and recovery services have been developed for those who need more intense and specialist support.
