Heatwave
Extreme heat is dangerous to everyone. A "heatwave" is an extended time interval of abnormally and uncomfortably hot weather. During a heatwave, when temperatures remain abnormally high over more than a couple of days, it can prove fatal, particulary among certain at risk groups.
